[When the first few presents arrive, they're hard to miss- even as presents. They're parcels after all, and well. They're there. Gongenzaka being Gongenzaka, he doesn't do anything more than move them out of the way, or perhaps onto Maya's desk.

Gongenzaka being Gongenzaka of course, he's still quick to remember them in general when Maya comes into the dorm later- still daylight, so Gongenzaka is still Not A Bear.

*Maya's not thinking about her birthday, for once today. Nobody can know, it's fine. Nothing is going on. Just planning to come into her room, drop off her cello, grab some books and head into town.*

AUH-! I have not opened them, of course!! [He hurriedly insists, shaking his head.] And I did not look at any labels! However...

My sister ordered a cake and had it sent here this morning. Some people might've noticed. If they ask, you don't need to lie.

She ordered it from the bakery in town. Marvels of technology.

Katie's- she knows how to do exactly what she set out to do? If she decided 'I get a cake on my birthday' then I get a cake.

...I am surprised, that she sent you a 'whole' cake, however....is that not a bit much for one person?

Katie tries a little hard after- anytime I'm away from home she'll go out of her way.

I left the cake in the common room. I assume it's all been eaten, or someone put it in the fridge.
